Mallory Square Impressions
This is my lovely husband, David, with his booth at Mallory Square, where he is selling his original Fine Art Paintings and prints of Key West scenes and tropical subjects. He is a very talented artist and his work can be found all over the world in many collections and private homes. You can see more of his work on our website www.vanhulstart.com
Here you can see the big traffic that we have almost every evening and especially on weekends, like yesterday. A lot of the visitors were Jimmy Buffet's Parrotheads who had their fun weekend on the island.
And this woman looks somehow like me.... with two customers at my booth who are looking at my photographs that I sell.
If you look closer into the picture, you will see Alex (with the hat) our performer guy with his juggling act shortly before sunset. Can you see what a wonderful, dramatic sunset going on in the back of the picture?People from all over the world are watching this spectacle at Mallory Square.

Parrot Head Weekend in Key West - Jimmy Buffet in Concert

Jimmy Buffett (born James William Buffett on December 25, 1946, in Pascagoula, Mississippi) is a singer, songwriter, author, businessman, and recently a film producer best known for his "island escapism" lifestyle and music including hits such as "Margaritaville" (No. 234 on the list of "Songs of the Century"), and "Come Monday." He has a devoted base of fans known as "Parrotheads." His band is known as the Coral Reefer Band.
Aside from his career in music, Buffett is also a best-selling writer and is involved in two restaurant chains named after some of his best known songs, "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Margaritaville." He owns the Margaritaville Cafe restaurant chain and co-developed the Cheeseburger in Paradise restaurant concept with OSI Restaurant Partners (parent of Outback Steakhouse), which operates the chain under a licensing agreement with Mr. Buffett.
He and his wife Jane have two daughters, Savannah Jane and Sarah Delaney, and a son, Cameron Marley.
Go to my radio player and listen to some of Jimmy Buffet's legendary songs! He and his songs made this island to "Parrotheads" paradise.
