The Computer Bug and the Sunset

This beautiful sunset happened two days ago - but I was not able to post it earlier.

Hi my friends,

Two days ago I shot this wonderful sunset at the lake - and while I was out a computer bug was eating up my computer! Don't laugh, because it was not fun at all!

The repair guy was here for over 7 hours and tried to fix both of our laptops, not just mine. And after he left, I was happy for maybe 2 hours and then something were blocking everything again - I had no connections at all! So, today is Saturday, we called the guy up again - he was here for maybe another hour and finally now it's everything the way it should be: it's fine and working - YEAH! :)

I have never realized so clearly how strong - and you probably too! - I am addicted and depending on this box called laptop :)

So, I hope I can work for a while again without any problems, cross your fingers for me.
Thank you also for all those kind comments from the last post!
See you tomorrow too? It's my "Wordless Sunday" Special coming up :)
Have a great weekend!
Susanne

If I had to choose a religion...

If I had to choose a religion, the sun as the universal giver of life would be my god.

Bonaparte was a wise man!

Thanks to all my friends for all the visits and wonderful comments from yesterday.
Love you all...!

The Sky is Red as Fire

Yesterdays sunset, seen from my front yard.
I just have to share this with you. It was a very special and dramatic sunset!

Hi my friends,

Your so many comments to my "Wordless Sunday" photo from yesterday were nice and  overwhelming, to read all your kind words and thoughts! THANK YOU so much!

It's getting nice and warmer in Florida again, we have already
temps in the 70's - and that's really smells like spring time now, I love it!
Stay tuned, stay with me and see you soon :)

My First Sunset in 2010

The sky was like on fire
(There is NO PhotoShop in any of these pictures!)

Looking out from the backyard the sky was colored in deep red clouds

My first sunset photos in 2010 - made on New Years Day

Hi my friends,

Thank you all for coming back to my blog also in 2010. I appreciate all your kind comments and they make my day - and you know that, right?...*smile*....

I'm happy also to see some new faces visiting - you are ALL very welcome to stay with me.

So far, I have nothing special to tell you today, stay tuned and I'll see you tomorrow.

Believe it or not...

And this was the sunset from yesterday Tuesday evening! What a opposite to the deep blue sky from the day before, isn't it? It's like fire in the sky. Weather is changing here so fast from one day to the other.

The sound of Silence

Between the momentary crack when the day turns to night if you listen carefully you can hear the sizzle of the sun going into the sea....sssss.....

Shady Streets in Key West

Just now you will prefer to take a walk in these shady streets in Key West - the sun is burning hot.

Is this the Sun?

Is this our sun - or is this an other planet? Mars maybe or Saturn...?
I can assure you, it IS the setting sun in a red sky over Key West, out in the Gulf, over there by the mangroves!

Just another Sunset in Paradise

It's just another simple and wonderful sunset - seen at Mallory Square, where I'm selling my photography to tourists from all over the world. They come every evening down to the pier to see and to celebrate this spectacular sensation. This is the only place I know of where you can combine your work with a lot of fun.

Red Fireball

Last night's sunset in a mysterious red glow. The sun is setting down already behind Sunset Key Island and is no more that good visibel for all the tourist. "She" (the sun) will stay there up to the official date of summer begin at June 21th. After that "she" starts moving back again, out to the open water.

Red Skyline

A tropical skyline in a fantastic red color, it looks almost like fire in the clouds. The picture is made without using a photofilter. This is the almost everyevening show of a dramatic sunset in Key West, seen from the spot where I'm living.
Eine tropische Skyline in rote Farbe getaucht - und ganz ohne Filter aufgenommen. So sehe ich die Sonnenuntergaenge von dem Platz aus, wo ich wohne.
