This gorgeous sunset was captured 2 days ago out by the Lake where I'm living. 

The two fisher men came just in the right moment into the picture to make the photo more interesting

in a way and to give that special ambiance of  peace.

Sunset Cruises

It's definitely worth the price you pay for a ticket on one of these sailboats, catamarans or schooners to watch one of the magnificent sunsets that takes place almost every evening in Key West.

Is this the Sun?

Is this our sun - or is this an other planet? Mars maybe or Saturn...?

Purple, Orange and Golden Sky

The whole sky was colored into a deep purple after this spectacular sunset.

A classic red sun over the mangrove island painted the sky in a deep red-orange.

And this is how it looks after a hard rainfall when the sun decides to come back again to set down and to show us her golden glow in the sky and over the water.

Red Fireball

Last night's sunset in a mysterious red glow. The sun is setting down already behind Sunset Key Island and is no more that good visibel for all the tourist. "She" (the sun) will stay there up to the official date of summer begin at June 21th. After that "she" starts moving back again, out to the open water.

Dies ist der Sonnenuntergang von gestern: in tiefes Rot getauchte Wolken und das geheimnisvolle Glitzern des Wassers, waehrend ein paar Moeven und Pelikane ihre Runden drehen. Nun geht die Sonne bereits hinter Sunset Key Insel runter und bleibt dort bis zum Sommeranfang am 21. Juni. Danach bewegt sie sich dann langsam wieder zurueck ins offene Meer hinaus.

Red Skyline

A tropical skyline in a fantastic red color, it looks almost like fire in the clouds. The picture is made without using a photofilter. This is the almost everyevening show of a dramatic sunset in Key West, seen from the spot where I'm living.
